Gondor Chronicles is a Middle Earth based RPG that takes place in the kingdom of Gondor, in the year 3009 of the Third Age, 10 years before the Ring is destroyed. Thus, the setting is between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
As evil is rising over the western Ash Mountains, and as the forces of Mordors grow stronger, Gondor's stronghold city of Minas Tirith lives in the ever increasing shadow of evil. Orc raids are common upon the Pellenor, and Ithilien has grown dangerous. The residents of the White City must go about their lives with the constant small nag of fear in their mind, as soldiers train for battle, and the Steward moves deeper and deeper into a depression which is causing him to fail his people.
Travel the streets of Minas Tirith to market, Ride upon the Pellenor Fields, the Sail in the Bay of Belfalas... or even delve into the ranks of Mordor.
We are not a new forum, but a forum which is trying to increase our size and get another handful of people into our ranks! We have a couple active members now who would be happy to create some new friendships or adversaries. I would classify our current members as intermediate to advanced writers, but we are happy to welcome beginning writers as well, as we all started somewhere!
